Creating Women Ministries is pleased to present Personal Journeys, a series of workshops created for individual study and faith development. Designed as primer courses, Personal Journeys offer opportunities to explore new topics, such as vocational gifts or journaling, or to deepen one's knowledge by revisiting familiar themes or concepts from a new perspective. Shorter in length than our workshops, Personal Journeys are also structured to accommodate varied learning styles and schedules. You will be able to work with the study materials in whatever way makes the most sense for you.
Personal Journeys: Exploring Hope and Faith, welcomes you to reexamine these two integral Christian beliefs, define and apply them in your daily life, and understand their significance and effect in the world around us. What does it mean to live with or without hope? What is faithful living representative of, and how do we nurture its roots in our own hearts and souls, and in the lives of the people we love? What is a faith community comprised of, what are its features and benefits, and how do we contribute our beliefs and knowledge to its rich history and abundant resources?
With these, and many other questions in mind, Personal Journeys: Exploring Hope and Faith, is an opportunity to consider more fully that "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the convisction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1)." Each of the four study sections includes an essay to focus your thoughts, related questions to encourage your personal reflections, and journaling space to organize your process and extend and deepen your conscious understanding of this topic.
Personal Journeys: Exploring Hope and Faith, continues the developmental process of our beliefs, our relationship with God and how our faith meets and interacts with the world. We hope this study becomes part of your embodied faith and love of God in your life and community.
